The "Friendship Festa," now in its 11th year, began in 2011 with the goal of supporting the reconstruction of the areas of the prefecture affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, and this year, continuing from last year, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to local charities.

The event is an international cultural exchange event that deepens exchanges between local residents and people from ・ other countries and ethnicities under the motto "Fun ・ Food ・ Exchange".
