Chiba City ： Many visits by suspicious persons suspected of robbery

A series of robberies of private homes have been reported in the prefecture, and a series of robberies have been reported in neighboring prefectures as well. Criminals may be preparing in advance by calling or visiting homes, claiming to be a remodeling company, etc., to inquire about family members and whether there is cash in the home before committing the crimes.
To avoid becoming a victim of crime, never give out any personal information （ such as your financial situation, family structure, or the fact that you are an elderly person ） even if asked.
Also, when the other party visits you, please answer the intercom or through the front door and do not talk to them directly.
If the person persistently tries to ask for personal information even after you have refused, or if you feel suspicious, call 110 immediately.
