Chiba City ： Beware of Scam Precursor Calls

This is an announcement from Chiba Chuo Police Station.

Preliminary calls of Oreore scam have been received today in Miyako-machi and Benten, Chuo-ku, Chiba.
Someone claiming to be a grandchild or an acquaintance said, "Your bag was left behind in the restroom of a café." ？ "How much money do you have ？" "I'm home this afternoon "

These tactics are used to cheat people by having someone claiming to be related to the company come to your home to pick up the money.
If you receive such a call, do not keep it to yourself, but consult your family and report it to the police.
